Found a show where Les Stroud, The Survivor Man, does wild foraging. I have always wanted to do with ...with an experienced guide. This show the are on the coast of Oregon. I have always wanted to go to the Pacificas North west and just spend some time on that rocky coast. Sigh.

I miss clean open beach. I am happiest on the wrack line.

This year I will try to get to my beach... maybe stay at the bed and breakfast and ask if someone can drop me off..and Ill do the hike back.

I'd like to get up to some rocky shore in Maine too. Spend a day or two at the tide line.

If you're so inclined, you can take the Downeaster all the way up to Brunswick, Maine. There are some really good rocky beaches in that area, including my beloved beaches up that way.

You may also know somebody with a house up that way who would probably be more than happy to host you for the weekend and get you some beach action...

I am always inclined to climb aboard the Down Easter. I have taken it to see barbara nd to old Orchid Beach (there are no sea shells there, but a bar with live music on the beach) and I have gone up to wells and met my sister for a visit to Kennebunkport

It's a nice ride! I've taken it a couple of times.

Seriously, though, if you want to go that route I'm more than happy to take you to one of my beaches.

I miss the beach so much. It is about 9 hours drive from here and with Covid, we haven't even attempted to go.
