The house is ROARING...that would be the window a/c units. Not fond of the noise. Because I have the heat from the attic they do not cool my place efficiently...but going without a/c is dumb once we get over the high 80s as my house was 98 degrees when I came in. Sometimes it hits over 100.

Oh we'll...ROAR away.

I can't have the house too hot with a kitty. Iy would not be fair.

We haven't enough really hot periods here to warrant full air con in the home (public places like stores and hotels have it) although we do seem to be getting hotter summers. Some people might wish they had it for sleeping on warmer nights. There are mobile a/c units which I know some people buy for the bedroom. I have it in the car though, which is a blessing on hot journeys :)
