Dec. 11th, 2020 12:37 pmDad wants to get me an IPad for Christmas. Well he wants me to get me an iPad .
They have been the it of stock but a 8 am I saw there was some in the Boston store i like to use. I threw on some clothes and dashed off. Red line train. Green line train. Lots of hand sanitizer. 40 minute wait in line. They take my temp and it is then I find out you can only shop by appointment. I could wait 3 hours and then I could shop, but people may buy what I want before I shop.
Home I head waisted 3 hours.
Oh boy.
I can get it shipped back t shipping has been a disaster lately.
EDIT: The store still had them when I got home so I ordered the tea and will do in store pick up and go in tomorrow. I have a pick up appointment at 10 AM.
While not what I planned getting out and about is good for me...it is what I need. Once the snow hits it wont be so easy to get around for me. I have plenty of gloves and hand sanitizer.

Date: 2020-12-13 01:26 pm (UTC)This is a lot like when I was unemployed and it trigged a lot of depression issues. While I am not a herd animal, forced isolation is not good for me. And the isolation and being thrown off the team at work is making it worse.

Date: 2020-12-13 02:07 pm (UTC)Getting outside can be such a balm to the soul. I'm not saying throw yourself into a crowd, but I don't know how you don't just go take a walk on the beach every day, living as close as you do. I would be out there in all weather.
