Lost the day

ravena_kadeThe day is lost for PTO. My computer has not arrived. I checked with my friend who gets deliveries all the time. She says that they lie if they tell you your package will be in Quincy in the Morning. =( Meanwhile I cant go anywhere... even down stairs to cook because I wont here the door.
The tracking info just says its on a truck and I should get it by 9PM... and if it dont it will be too fekkin late top call anyone.
Not how I want to spend my PTO when I could have picked the thing up in 15 minutes yesterday.
That and its would have been a grand day to go to Rockport and at lease see the ocean. Its like spring here.
And for giggles I looked up an estimate and it would cost about $75 to take an Uber from my house to the beach in Ipswich. For how much the place means to me I think that is worth it.
