Nov. 12th, 2020 03:46 pmI found a place to get tested on Saturday.
I am really not worried, but I need to do what is right for others.
I cancelled my Saturday meatball making day with my Dad's sister and Monday's visit to my elderly friends.
Tuesday I had a talk with HR... it was just a fluffy wellbeing type reach out. I had said that I thought it was a program that would allow me to look at other Operations areas to get a basic idea of what they do and they see if I was a good fit. No. They suggested I work with my boss. I said that my boss has changed my function to fill in for someone who has left and is not interested in moving me out of this position as this roll fulfills an audit requirement. The HR person said that if I find another job to let her know and she would help me with the request. Sure thing.
So here I stay...
Today I had $7000 come in on an account but I only needed $629. I asked the boss and the people who work on the account for guidance. A coworker said she would look at it. The boss says the $7000 matches the $7000 outstanding. Ummm...there is only $629 outstanding. I copied the team leader. She called me. She agreed with me . I said I feel like I have asked for an answer to a match-problem and have been given a fish. She laughed and agreed with me again. I said I wanted a meeting with the boss so we could understand how this account works.
The coworkers cannot explain it and it could be because of ESL, but we still need to know how this works and the Boss knows that. I am just leery to start anything with the boss when she gave me a short answer. I said that I wasn't sure what the boss had told her about me, but I can be described as stubborn and I can over think things...but it is just because I want to do things the right way. I am open to training. I thought may have been an easier way of saying that the boss and I don't always see eye to eye. We shall see. She seemed to get where I was coming from.
