Nov. 9th, 2020 05:50 pmOver the weekend i got some garden chores done. I hav more. This month they will pick up yard waste every week and then no pick ups until May.
Yesterday I went to ceramics at the cousins. If one hadn't been working on Christmas gifts I would have stayed home. The nerve pain wasn't too bad, but it made me have less patience for their bickering and yelling.
I did leave early to sign for a deliberate of clay to my friend's ceramic shop I really didnt want to. The only time they would come was between 4 and 5 PM... and yesterday was the anniversary of my friend's husband's death... and I know I was more help at the shop than sitting at the memorial mass at 5 PM. If someone wasn't there the clay company would not come back until spring. Sigh. So I went... and the woman who helps at the shop showed up too. We carried in the clay and place it by the stairs. The woman was not used to handling the boxes... each weighed 20 pounds and there were 60 of them. I am not comfortable on the stairs as they are ancient and not regulation steps so I wasn't going to carry them down, nor did I let her do it as I was afraid she would fall. We waited for my friend to come and the 3 of us did a bucket brigade... but 60 x 20 is 1200 pounds...and I moved it twice. Needless to say I am stiff today.
The nerve pain wasn't so bad this morning...I actually thought it may have died...but it is acting up now. I am wondering if it isn't something to do with the sinuses, like
spikesgirl58suggested... because my ears now hurt. Oh boy.
Tomorrow I have an interview with HR. I signed up to find out what opportunities are out there to grow. Sadly the HR person deals with PA. I really am only interested in working from Boston. Our tech sucks and I don't want to be the only Boston member of a PA team. Im dealing with that now. I will interview the person as she interviews me. I have done this before at the insurance company. It is good to get my feet wet. I really want to go back to the office and be on a team but not jump into something worse.
