Aug. 20th, 2021 08:39 amI had yesterday off of work...and today. I went in town for an eye exam and new glasses. It wasn't easy as there was a monsoon going on. I wore my water shoes and was happy because there was 3 to 4 inches of water where the eye doctors office was.
I tried to go to the Aquarium but it was brutally crowded and I could not get anywhere near a fish tank. I popped into the gift store to see if I could find something fun to send to my sister, but didnt see anything.
I want dto go pick up some sun flowers for me...but the rain was ridiculous so I sloshed home.
Today is gray and rainy too. I am going putter. I like puttering. Will go out to lunch with Dad.
Tomorrow I am supposed to help a friend with an outside craft show... not sure how the weather will go. They are saying we will get storm Henri on Sunday, but its pretty wet now. I hope they are smart enough to cancel. The show is by a Beer Garden and no one will be sitting outside if is rainy.
