(no subject)

My vacation started tonight. I have been exhausted and had zippo for motivation. I hope to recharge this week.

I will spend my birthday and another day up North at the sea side... in artsy places. Get back on the rails. That is a good recharge.

I want to spend time in the garden...so hopefully it will stop raining.

I had this funny idea about selling my 8 x 8 paintings on the beach when I retire... It amused me. I thought I could take an adult tricycle down and fill the back basket up with paintings and ride down across from one of the clam shacks and put the paintings on the sea wall. Then I thought I would need shade... how could I rig an umbrella to a trike? Lo and behold they sell canopies for the trikes on amazon. I would have to put fringe on it... Yes, I amuse myself!!!! ;D I also bet I could describe what I want and one of my Asian neighbors would have an Uncle or a Grand Dad that could met me just what I wanted.

on a more serious note I am going to help the ceramic shop friend do a pop up outside art/craft thing in a couple of weeks. She has a shop so people know her. I want to go and meet people and see if I can get on board with planning things with my city. I would volunteer on a committee. The city keeps building all these luxury condos and pushing the charm out of the area. Well, if people live here there may be new monied people who would like some art. And artists would give these modern spaces some charm. I'd love to see a full time artist market here.... I just dont know what the steps are
