Aug. 29th, 2020 08:51 pmToday we went up North. I had birthday money and I wanted Fried Clams.
We also went to my favorite nursery and I bought fall plats for the front. I'll put those out this week.
I also visited a jewelry store in town for a tenant that was designed by that shop. Sadly it was sold out. The designer was there and said that she has not heard back from her silver casting person. She said that she could call me when she got her shipment in. Sure. We chatted about jewelry and design. She went to the art school that I want to go to when I am 62...tuition is half off if you are a resident. I also mentioned that I loved the beach there and that I was sad I could not go this year because I am not a resident. She offered me her Van to drive there then as she has a beach pass and can go any time. Wow. How nice.
When we came home I walked the beach. It was a low tide. No little fishes, but the little hermit crabs are fun to watch. There was also a great blend heron, but I could not catch a photo of him with my cell phone. He was too skittish. I need to walk the beach with my big lens.
