Aug. 28th, 2020 09:04 pmMy Mac is having issues. The battery needs to be replaced NOW. If the cord gets jiggled it shuts down and i have a hard time getting it to start back up. I have the cord duct taped to the computer. I have n appointment next Friday... the quickest I could get. I wanted to buy a battery, but due to Corvid I could not get one until next Friday. The person from Apple said that I should not damage the computer if I use it sparingly. I hope thats true.
As a back up I dragged out my kindle fire
I am amazed that I could still buy a book on it when the Amazon account associated with it has been locked. It seems its connection is not related. That"s good news.
I need to make a point to change all my passwords on things incase they get lost to this computer dies.
At work the boss official told everyone that I am off the Boston team and on the PA team. I feel thrown away. I asked about my work with Visa. The team I am on is not allowed to do accounting. She said I would keep it for now. Since that takes 4 hours I don't feel I belong here...and she said that I also don't belong with the Boston team. I am stuck in the middle.
Walked the beach by the house tonight. Theater was a tad cloudy in places... but in the clear spots i could seethe little fish. A really beautiful sight is when the tiny fish jump out of the water. There is a twinkle of silver above the water, like a group of tiny stars, and then a tiny splash. I know that means a predator fish has scared them... buy i could not see the bigger fish.
