I went in an hour earlier than usual and worked through lunch. Still not caught up.
The coworker whose husband has cancer did not come in 2 days last week. My trainee who is supposed to back me up did not come in because her baby was not feeling well. She will not be in again tomorrow because she did not get any results at the doctor's over the weekend. The doc says baby has an ear infection. She doesn't believe that. She didn't cover my work at all.
We have another person out tomorrow as her Dad has cancer.
Last week my bosses boss received a reprimand from the audit area because they believed I should not have completed the month end reports so fast. The bosses boss said that it was because we were short of resources. They wanted all the reports done over. The bosses boss said no. I like this guy. I wish he had another department here in Massachusetts because I would ask him if he had another job for me.
The department needs a game plan...but the boss does not believe in that.
I need an evacuation plan, but I need to see what Dad needs first as I won't be able to go to any dr appointments with him if I switch jobs.
