Jan. 21st, 2018 09:33 amYesterday I walked the beach in search of the eagle and the owl. They were not there , but a 2 mile walk felt great. I walk everywhere, but since before Christmas the weather has kept me from really stretching my legs. I met quite a few people on the beach...all saying Good Morning, or Doshin- Chinese for Good Morning. At the end of the beach I met a man who immigrated hear from India...he had a Cannon Camera with a HUGE lens... I have lens envy, I know. He saw my camera (and my tiny 300 mm lens) and asked if I had seen the owl or eagle. We spoke for a bit and I told him of the other places around the bay that they have been seen. It was nice to chat and photography makes me happy.
Did some errands in the after noon and chatted with someone on messenger so I never finished the house chores. Dinner came out great... even though my pot was too small for a 5.8 lb piece of meat. Next time I will use my lobster pot, even if that is a bit over kill. It will make it easier to boil the veggies with the meat. I have left overs for several meals this week.
I was able to see about half of Blue Planet 2 before falling asleep in my chair.
Today is ceramics class... and then staying so Dad can watch a big football game. I may bring a book.
