Vacation is over.

Spent some nice time at the sea. I am happy my sister and friend like the northern New England seacoast. We went to Kennebunkport (in a monsoon) and Ogunquit, Maine. I hope to go back there and take some good photography.

My sister left this morning. Some things were said that bothered me a lot, but neither person realized how I would take what they said and I KNOW they meant no offense. My sister's OCDs are hard for me to take 20 hrs out of 24... and my own needs get lost. 5 or 6 hours a day is okay...even 10.

I wish plane tickets did not cost so much as I would like to see them 3 or 4 times a year, but the cheap airlines do not fly to Milwaukee. Hopefully I can get them to drive to Chicago.

Her leaving also triggered some nightmares as she left the same time this weekend last year and it was the last time she ever spoke to my Mom. Ma fell at 1 AM on 9/11. 9/10 I spent the day trying to talk he into letting me take her to the hospital before the second fall where she broke her arm...sigh..... The year comes round... as they do.

The cat is a good antidote for nightmares...a tongue up your nose can interrupt a lot of things... and he is very cuddly and purrs a lot. I do love the little fur ball and he helps a lot.

Today I am detoxing from fried food and clam chowder. Mediocre tourist costal food is off limits for a couple weeks. It will be grilled meat/fish and veggies for a bit with the focus on veggies.

Fighting with Photoshop Elements and the new mac (that is a year old). I am trying... but the software has changed from something intuitive to something to wrestle with... I hope to figure it out as this is what I bought this big computer for....

I wonder if I should do an Instagram account?
