Aug. 11th, 2017 07:18 pmIt was 20 years ago today that the family planned a picnic.
They planned another for tomorrow.
It poured buckets 20 years ago...there was a joke around that when ever Ma went to a picnic it rained.
Tomorrow it is going to pour and possible thunder and lightning.
The family won't cancel and will set up tarps. Not sure why they won't charge to Sunday...everyone but Dad is free.
I hoping the weather guys have it wrong.
Oh well, there should be some laughs.
I made sweet potato salad and bought a small regular potato salad from the store in case people don't like sweet potatoes. I thought it was weird that they asked me to bring that. My Mom used to always make that and people liked it... but I never learned to make it her way. She stopped when it was hard to get good potatoes...back in the day before people used a lot of Yukon Gold or the red potatoes.
