Aug. 20th, 2020 09:16 amJust received a company wide email from the CEO that there has been fraud activity on our money machines at a branch level and if the news should try to contact us we should not talk to them.
When I received the email I asked if there was any way to know if it was from non customer cards. This happened last year...Dad saw it on the news that the FBI caught someone at our machines... and my bosses ignored me. It blew up and we almost ate 2 million. The work effort is what broke my hands last year.
I did notice my boss was in a meeting at 7:30 and is still in the meeting...must be this.
I'd cross my fingers that it was not outside bank cards...but I can't do that anymore.
If the fraud is with our card holders then it has nothing to do with me.
edit... just searched google and 100 people were arrested in a scan in New Jersey. The news said no customers were impacted. Looks like this might be coming to me ... again.
The boss is out of the meeting...lets see if she bothers to tell me.
