ravena_kadeToday I headed to Rockport. It was a cool and cloudy day so I thought it would not be crowded. It looked like rain all day, but we are in a drought...we did get sprinkled on after 3...but not enough to really get wet.
I had some time at the water. The ocean was rough today...the surf strong. It was good to hear.
I went up to get my sister a Birthday present and the mission was accomplished.
I bought myself a delicate necklace and had a long chat with the woman at the shop. Said I needed a necklace like I needed a while in the head as I make jewelry. She asked me if I sold it...I told her about the craft shows, but I don't know what to do this year... She said she made to and wanted to sell, but didn't know what to do. I said that craft shows are not happening this yea, but I am going to assume that you just work fir the shop and are not the owner. I would approach the owner to see if she eouldlet you put some things here...as log as they fit the "style" she wants for the shop. I said one of the things I have is that church craft shows are often treated as flea markets, but the tourists here can be quite affluent so money isn't an issue. She said she had some things to show the owner. I wished her luck.
I miss the craft shows.
I hope to sell some jewelry by putting photos on fb. I know I can ship for a few dollars anywhere in the country with the prepaid mailers is Trump doesn't destroy the post office.
I headed home and enjoyed the afternoon. It is nice to have a real day off. Usually its Saturday chore day and sunday going over to the cousins... but I don't want to be at the cousins every week if we are not doing ceramics.
