ravena_kadeI slept well last night.
I signed on and processed the wire for my boss.
I am now on vacation.
I rubbed the brisket for tomorrow;'s socially distant visit. It will slow cook tonight...until tomorrow morning. It will grilled to finish off.
Today Dad wants to go for a ride... he needs a change of scenery too. He thinks we can go someplace without people and I can take photos. Im okay with that.
I am trying to think of positives about work... maybe the 3 people who have joined the group will be my team... the boss will have to be welcoming to them and that means less snarky to me.
I have met one of them...she is brilliant..and young... and knows technology. I hope I can learn some things from her. I am also interested in watching what unfolds between her and the second in command... This new person is honestly brilliant and the second in command is an unhelpful twit who got her grade by sucking up. If my boss ignores this new person then she is a dimwit.
The goal after my September vacation is to integrate into some of their processes.
That and the next go round for layoffs will be October and then maybe April.
