So glad traffic is not a regular part of my life

Dad has a chance to be in a golf tournament for free.

The countertops may come in sometime this week.

Wanna bet they come in when he is at the tournament.


Tonight I went with him on a test run to try and find this golf course. It is called The Black Swan. A really weird name for a golf course. It is up by Ipswich and there are lots of twisty roads to get there. We went after I got home from the dentist and it took over 2 hours to get there> I am so not a fan of traffic. The train gets me close to there in 40 minutes... and I can nap ;-)

We did diner at the bar in Ipswich and did not make it home until 9.

I am tired. I will finish my tea and toddle off to bed.

Does dad have to be home for the counter top delivery?

Someone has to be here because the contractor is on another job in Vermont. I need to make sure that the holes for the faucet are cut to where I want them. We are not mounting dead center because of the wind. We want a side mount.

But you can do that without dad, right? It's not like you need to carry the damned thing in by yourself, you just have to supervise, right?

oh I can do it, but I loose PTO time and get flack from my job...this friday isn't so bad, but the summers are all booked up for fridays with everyone else pto. They go by seniority and everyone I work with has been there longer than me so it is a struggle to get time and schedule anything from now until Christmas

Ah, I wasn't thinking during the work day. My brain was thinking "weekend" if dad was at a golf tournament. Didn't realize it was during the week.

I got all confused about your location when you talked of twisty roads and Ipswich as that is my part of the world...but in the UK :)

Ah.... Yup is am in the States. Someday I hope to get to Ipswich, England
