ravena_kadeToday I had a web ex meeting to show the people in Pennsylvania the last 4 general ledger accounts. My boss told the it was easy...once you reconcile 1 ledger account you have done them all... well, she has NEVER learned to back me up. The meeting took 1 1/2 hours. And they only just got a glimpse. It was much more than what they do. I have hardhat before.
I talked for the entire hour and 40... That is tiring. More so since I could not use gesture to point things out.
I need a nap.
Told them that I would send them simple cheat sheet type notes. That they should go over them and come back with questions. If it was more than they thought then they should go to Pam.
They were surprised that I have access to the accounting format. They do not. Hmmm...if I am on that team...and by the way the don't think of me as being on their team... I should not.
The woman that did my work when I had the PTO day in May said that it took her over 3 hours and it was so frustrating. I thanked her as I had no idea that my boss would not back me up that day. I also thanked her for validating my frustrations. I do that every day. It is easier if you do it earlier ...and she agreed. I didn't tell her that I am getting up at 4:30AM just t get them done in 2.5 hours.
Her tech person things she can streamline things if the bosses agree to it. nd she agreed that the issues I am having have nothing to do with my internet. It has to do with the size of the files.
Oh well, we shall see.. if they make it too easy they may not need me.
