The groundhog climbs. It was on the stump a few minutes ago.

I wish I could tell if it was male or female. My stump would be a good spot for babies.

I just wish it was bunnies...or foxes... oh well.

I should name it. Perhaps an herb name.

I have a really weird thought.....

If I fall asleep in my orange garden chair... I like to read and be quiet in my garden...will the ground hog try to come close? I know it won't come near when I am moving as they are timid... being a prey animal.. But I would freak if I woke up with it near my feet.

We don't have groundhogs here but I think I'd be okay if one took up residence in the garden. It expect the groundhog would freak more than you if you woke up and it was close :)

Ally and I saw a groundhog the other day, waddling up through the woods out back. And something has been pooping on my friend's pool cover! He is getting a critter cam like mine to find out what it is. Whatever it is, it is light enough not to go through the pool cover, but the turds are HUGE. Yuck. :p

The groundhog climbs

You might not want to encourage it to hang around. I planted a garden when I was in college and the local (as in lived in a burrow next to our bulkhead) groundhog ate the whole thing as if it was his personal salad bar. =(
