Last night I worked an hour to help one of the coworkers because they lost power.

The coworker said thank you. The boss asked why. I said that she was on all the texts when he was asking for help. She saw me respond.

Noon time we have a lunch meeting. An area in PA needs help as they are overrun. The manager asked individuals if they had 2 or 3 hours a day to help... the coworkers didn't know what to say...none of them have 3 hours a day. I spoke up and said I could help. No, she said I could not. I said what if I help my coworkers on the work I used to do so they could be free to help the other department. She said no that would be a conflict of interest and you are to remain separate.... Then the local boss was trying to negotiate overtime for the other workers. She explained to them that this would be a way for them to grow and gain more knowledge and then added...like there may be opportunities in PA for Jennifer...

so... I was upset. I still am very upset. Depressed and upset.

I IM'd the boss... so I am not supposed to help the people I work with? She said yes. She said she was sorry if she miscommunicated. I said thats the issue... you did not communicate. We never had a meeting. You called me when I was upset 3 weeks ago and made up a story that I was still part of the team but now your saying I can't help?

How the fuck am I supposed to find my own opportunities in another state with people I will never meet.

My coworker asked me to help. I apologized and said that I am not allowed to...as stated in the phone meeting. I am sorry. She was shocked that I was not part of Cards... I said that she heard it on the phone. She said that they needed me. I thanked her, but apparently the bosses don't think you do.

i obviously don't understand any of this, organizationally, but i sort of hope you're keeping a paper trail on all the political BS with your boss. it just all gives me a weird feeling (the screencaps, etc). why is it a conflict on interest, i wonder?

it's bizarre that now that IT has FINALLY been able to help you connect from home at a better speed, your local boss would slam down on you for offering to do extra work. i don't get it.

Its an audit thing. The remedial function they have busted me town to looks at the accounts. You can't ba the person who balances the accounts and be the same person who takes money in and out of the accounts. I have the knowledge to actually hide money...and even disperse into my own personal account and other people's bank cards.

I have records. I send emails when I am on early... like now...and if I am let go without a package I am reporting them to the labor board.

It would have made more sense to lay me off last round and hire someone at a lower pay. NowI have absolutely no growth potential.

And the cowards couldn't even have a meeting with me to tell me.
