ravena_kadeStarted work at 4:30 AM and finished at 2:30PM.
Dinner was better tonight. I spiced it up with garlic and red pepper flake.
Went out and did some more yard cleaning after dinner. Filled another barrel with dead oak leaves caught in my flower borders. The nearest oak is a block away...but the leaves end up in my yard.
There is a woman I follow on FB called the Monarch Gardener...she lives in my beloved Ipswich and raises Monarch Butterflies...I hope t meet her at some point... Well she posted about clearing leaf litter carefully as she found a toad sleeping in her leaves. If she had used a are she may have killed it. Well.. I went at my leaf litter gingerly and I found a small snake resting in the leaves. It was cool so the sale was sluggish. I covered him back up. I like seeing snakes in the yard.
