ravena_kadeIt was nice to sleep in until 7 AM.
Today I am painting the living room. Since I have a small Victorian era flat I need to do one wall at a time as I can't move the furniture out of the room.
So far I have 2 coats of the new orange on the wall. It is a tad brighter than the original...but it still is more of a pumpkin or squash color and not Home Depot orange. It will need 3 coats as orange is very translucent.
Once this is done I will get a new rug. Wayfair is a perfect place to order things...especially for a car-less human. Dad's rug is going on its 3rd year and still looks great.
Dad is still working. They are on skeleton crew...and are making masks. It gives him something to do...he is contributing to the greater good. He is passing out masks to the shop keepers he visits and the breakfast place down the corner that is trying to get used to take out.
It's good he is out because he isn't helpful at home. For 3 weeks I have been asking if he would take down the speakers he put up on my walks about 10 years ago. Today he did it. I kept saying be careful of the ceiling as I am not painting it... be care of the ceiling... you are scraping the ceiling... be careful... He says he is not touching the ceiling... he yanks the speaker wire... and puts a hole in the ceiling. It's a small hole...but... Sigh. Meanwhile he helped build my cousins' house perfectly...
