ravena_kadeToday was pretty good. While it takes a ridiculous amount of time for me to do a task, I have found away to do it that it will not frustrate me. It might frustrate the boss...but I don't care. My old back up never had a time frame so I certainly shouldn't have to have one. As long as it is done before I shut down for the day.
I ended up making templates and downloading everything directly to my hard drive instead of the shared drive. It takes some time, but not as long as doing it the other way. I made templates and once the reports are made I save in bulk to the shared space. I download at lunch...and walk away. I save to the shared space just before signing off...and walk away. Don't care if it is 30 or 40 minutes. It still takes 3 hours, but I am not waiting. The sad part is that it only takes an hour when I am working in the office.
Today I had my taxes done. The refund will pay off some debt. Need to do that so if I am laid off I am not killed with bills. I know unemployment will cover the mortgage.
