ravena_kadeI did go out yesterday.
My trench coat return to old Navy took seconds. Yay. They also had a clearance rack and I got some really nice shirts for work spring and summer (long sleeves in work because of too much a/c) for $4.00 each. Love it.
I went to Home Goods as all the glass wear and decorative things make my Italian heart sing...it's a good thing my apartment is small. I just had to buy a ceramic chicken... the glaze job is beautiful. I like chickens. I want to try and copy this glaze technique... I guess it's okay if I bought it as inspiration. Yeah...right...snicker snicker. Dad liked it so much we put it in the downstairs living room (which still doesn't have machine it for decoration).
I also picked up a couple of small lucite containers. Lucite is expensive, I piled some of the sand dollars I have found in one box and now they look like art. The other has the sea glass I have found and it looks nice contained. Sometime I will make art pieces out of these things (for gifts), but now they look good.
Dad felt bad that I could not find a nice coat so he took me to a coat place a little out of the way and I found a lovely Selby short trench coat... on a 30% off so that was good too.
Today the cousins asked to start up ceramics again. Okay. The 91 year old aunt wants to work on something as she is getting cabin fever too.
