The dinosaur is not talking to me. I find it amusing. I am quiet because I am busy...busy busy. I could use help, but there is no one to help...

Work just isn't working. You would not believe the shenanigans that VISA and MasterCard play with banks to try and screw them out of money. I need my boss to step up and help.

Was asked to go on an almost free vacation...but I can't. The cousins are renting a condo in the shenandoah Valley... I was asked to go. It would have been really nice to take photos. 2 reasons why I can't. #1 is that a coworker is going Vietnam for a month then and she has seniority. #2 They are driving so they are taking 3 weeks... I can't leave Dad alone for 3 weeks. I may not come back to a house. This soured my mood more than it should have.

Rec'd a funny text from a friend...it cleared the sour.


I need to figure out a 3 or 4 day trip...some place by the sea. A travel buddy would be nice, but not necessary.

It's a shame about the trip to the Shenandoah Valley. Is there absolutely no one who can keep an eye on your dad or have him stay with them for three weeks? It's a lot to ask of people, I know. I hope you can arrange a lovely short trip away. I've been away a lot of times on my own. We do short coach (bus) trips here, a load of strangers going to the same place and hotel. I've always made friends on the trips and had a great time. Do you have that sort of thing there or would you rather do your own thing?

I am looking into group tours. I have always liked that idea. There are a few that leave from Boston too.
