ravena_kadeA few days before my friend's husband passed a cousin ordered some plates from my friend's shop to do as Christmas presents. At the death she calls me and asks if they would still be done. I said I didn't think so, but we talk about an alternative plan that she agreed to. So I went to pick up some bisque plates and got stuck in 1.5 hours of traffic getting them. I then pulled an easy design out of my ass that she could do. We had a 45 minute text session Sunday about the process and couldI have a sample ready for today as she wanted them done by Dec 21. I rush painted the sample... and fired it twice in the kiln so it would be ready for today. I bring it in to the house and she says great... we can do that next year. Ummmmm...
I mentioned our text from Sunday morning. She said she changed her mind. I said that I wish I knew because I would not have killed myself designing a lesson and painting the thing as a rush. Crafting isn't like shopping at Walmart
