I had lots of compliments on the ceramic trees that everyone loves know, but do not want to buy. Everyone loved the snowman wreath, but no one would buy it. I know people that sell it for $56.oo. My city is jus not a city that spends.
I was hoping sell the trees and wreath as I just got a bill from the mortgage company for $700 because my city raised the property taxes. I have until Saturday to pay that or my mortgage gets raised. I'll take it from the money I saved for a new camera. I can still hope to get my trees into one more place to sell for the holidays. We shall see.
I did sell a lovely light gray striated agate and gray fresh water pearl necklace and earring set. A very classy neutral set. It was for a Christmas gift. I hope the person who receives will love it. I get joy out of that. I like seeing my jewelry on people. I feel jewelry is a personal thing and not every piece is meant for every person. I am happy when a piece finds a person. This is why I do it. Money helps with other things... but I would still make jewelry ever with no outlet to try and sell.
