Last week we found out that the guy that sells brushes is bailing on our ceramic show. I called and said his truck died and blah blah blah blah. Sigh. My friend that runs the show specifically asked him about dates and stuff... If he had called 2 weeks earlier we could have cancelled the show.

Tonight I decided to send a note to the woman with the ceramic shop in a garden shed in her yard...its over an hour ride for her and she does not need anything to paint, she buys brushes. She thanked me but she didn't plan on going as the show is just so disappointing (ouch)as we can't get ceramic mold companies to come.She also said that the brush guy told her last year that he would not be back and that's why she didn't plan on going.

I wish the jack ass brush guy was honest with us. I then wouldn't be wasting my time with this...

I say no more show. Sad, but it's dead.

I am trying to think of a better way to promote ceramics than a show that's a no show. Maybe a a you tube thing ;-P I don't know.

What I do know is that I like making finished ware. Nothing pleases me more as something I have made becoming some families new cherished holiday item. My nativities are cherished Christmas family traditions
