Sep. 19th, 2019 10:01 pmSo things are stressing on the work front. Sigh...
Then last night I found out that they cancelled the Nov 2 craft show and we did not get into the November 9th craft show. Sad. I had high hopes.
The weird things is that the same day we were turned down for the Nov 9th show the show chairman posted that they had room for 6 vendors on Face book. Now I know there is NO ONE with hand painted ceramics. There is only one-person in the city with a business and who teaches for a living and that is my friend who I applied with. We sent an email to ask about those 6 spots. If I don't hear back I think I can get into a show that a friend of mine is running. It will be a new neighborhood so maybe my stuff will sell.
I am thinking of having Dad ask the small (but wicked busy) diner put a few ceramic items in their window to see if I can get some orders. They like Dad and were kind to him when Ma died.
Last night I also found out that our biggest vendor at the ceramic trade show has backed out. We now only have 6 tables.... and it is too late to cancel as we mailed out 1ooo post cards telling people about the show. My thoughts are not to do a ceramic show anymore as I don't think we have enough people... If they have interest in a show I will help, but I will not have a table as making all this product has tied me up for over a month and I am not guaranteed to make the cost of the table. Myheart is in finished things...,my art/craft... trade vending.
