I am feeling better.

The hands were painful all last night so sleep wasn't good.

Today I went to Cranes Beach in Ipswich. It was my last visit for the season since the shuttle busses stop next week... and I generally do not go Labor Day Weekend.

Today the beach gave me lots of things... Monarchs, Minnows, Shark Eye'd Moon Snails, Sand Dollars, and rocks. The rocks I pick up for a circle I have in my yard...bringing my beach back home.

After the beach I stopped at the bar and had Fried Clams and a hard cider... must be careful with the hard cider if you are dehydrated. I forgot that I didn't have water as I walked the beach so I could feel the alcohol. Ooopsie


It will be an early night.

Tomorrow is a family gathering.

Monday I go back to work. Goodness knows what I will find. It's at the point that I would not be surprised if I go back and we are laid off.

I love our relatively small island and our lovely countryside and beaches but I admit to a little bit of envy at you having that lovely part of the coast close by to visit. That part of the MA coast and also Cape Cod are favorite places for me but it's been years since I visited.

You had some wonderful finds, I like the idea of bringing your beach back home :)

I hope work is okay when you get back :/
