I think the splints are making things worse. The pain is now shooting up not arms, The meds have done nothing for the fingers. I am still waiting for the referral letter for therapy.

The CBD lotion is doing Nothing.

The bills are coming in. $500 in medical bills and nothing has been done for me. $500 is a tank of heating fuel.

Last night I was so tired I was dizzy and spaced out. I dint like that feeling. It carried over into today.

I finished all the reporting and will meet the new boss tomorrow. I do hope we can click.

Mu supervisor is ticking me ogg... more so since I am not feeling up to par. Yesterday when walking to the train station her car was stopped at the cross walk. I smiled and waved at her. She didn't wave or smile back. I was only a car hood's length away from her. And if she cold not see me then she has no business driving. I thought she at least would have acknowledged me as being crazy or funny. Nope.

I have an idea for an art abandonment project... it's where you leave small art items/tokens around for people to find. I am going to make ceramic sand dollars and leave them to be found. I find joy in hunting for sand dollars but they are so fragile. I can make and glaze ceramic ones.

Next week I am on Vacation. Looking forward to it. IT's a stay-cation, but that is okay. I will go back to my beach and get the house in order.

Could your hands be strained from working clay? Or do you think it's the keyboard and mouse? :(

i was going to ask about carpal tunnel, and wondered if stretching your wrists out and/or icing does anything to the swelling and pain. i'm sorry the CBD was a bust. :/ you'd think your job would have better fricken health care!

IF it's nerve issue from carpal tunnel, extending your wrist (think the "stop" motion with the hand) and stretching it might ease symptoms briefly. the splints are supposed to keep you from possibly curling the wrists under while you sleep, compressing the carpal tunnel. wearing them while you type can also help, if typing is causing it.

but the nerves could be compressed higher up, like by the neck or under pec minor (the side of the chest). you really have to stretch out everything to eliminate it unless they decide to do a nerve conduction test.

just medicating nerve pain is usually a fairly bad idea, because the pain conduction is first and then if more of the nerve gets inflamed and compressed, it's motion that gets affected. i question your damn doctors. [personal profile] sigh@

What [personal profile] chris_warrior said. If it is carpel tunnel syndrome or tendonitis your work should supply you with a more ergonomic workstation. I hope you get a diagnosis soon so that it can be treated correctly.

Just don't make the objects too big. When I was at the Navy Yard last weekend they called the police over a lost cell phone.
