Today I had a doc appointment. It was to take some samples to see if the cancer cells grew back from last year's procedure. Everything looks good visually. but only tests will tell for sure.

She noticed I was myself and I mentioned my hands... I know it was the wrong end...so to speak, but she took a look. She said that it did not look like anything was wrong with the bones. It looks like fluid in the soft tissue. She was surprised that the hand specialist did not give me wrist splints. she said that sometimes pregnant women get fluid build up and she prescribes splints. She said I could try it...and that it would not do any harm no matter the cause. Soooooo....now I have wrist splints.....

They are not making me happy. I can type, but I cannot mouse. My job is a ton of mouse movements. I am at my busiest time and I expect all those claims that I denied last month to come back any day as American express won the fraud suit and we have to pay....meaning I have to pay. They make my hands hurt more... so I will need to take them off for a bit.

The cat does not like them. White-ish cat. Black velcro. They are going to be hairy.

Tomorrow is a week on the anti inflammatory med and no relief. I got better pain relief from the ibuprofen. I am going to contact the hand specialist and see about another appointment.

Bummer. Is it both hands giving you this problem?

Your hands really are a mystery. Wrist splints work better for me at night for some reason but I only need to wear them when the arthritis flares up, which isn't often.
