One thing that is odd is that a he kneads a lot... and hard. I am getting bruised from it.He also kneads with claws out. He purrs all the time he is doing it so I think he is happy

he will soon associate the quilt with his need to kneed and wait for it
we have used his with our cats - it works
it is particularly helpful with bebe who flexes her luxurious sharp claws in her ecstacy
