ravena_kadeI was able to get a Dr appointment today as my hands are still swollen and one of my fingers is still locking. It's my right hand and I am right handed. I need that to hold a detail brush.
I see a hand specialist on July 31. Not sure if this is covered by my crappy insurance...but to is my right hand. It's what makes me me.
The doc can't tell if the swelling is just the heat, from a trauma ...in my case too much yard work... We are doing blood tests as I have an annoying pain occasionally just about where my left kidney is. I have had kidney stones before but that pain was so bad I collapsed on the train. Perhaps its early in the kidney issues are everything is running pretty clear...so to speak. My last bought with stones was exactly 25 years ago. And all they said was to drink plenty of water and sent me home...
...I have put down 30 oz of H2O since coming home... Will do 6 bottles a day until I get the blood work back. I hate water. Water is for plants But...it is cheap medicine.
Fun thing about today... The doc was as smitten with my new hair color as I am.
Suck thing about today...I was lucky that I could get an appointment today at 1 PM. I left at noon. I have no idea that the other senior analyst was working at home as she had a doctor's appointment. Glad the direct boss was not in as she would have tried to give me crap. The boss I like just said no problem. He knows I care about my work and I am a team player.
The other boss won't like that I have 4 appointments coming up... but I am doing my work and scheduling things as late as I can. I am not fooling around with my hands or a kidney.
God knows what this is going to cost me.
