Franky had me up at 5:30. There seemed to be an urgency, but I never found out what. I was glad he woke me as the sun was up. I was out in the garden from 6 AM to ( AM. I planted eggplant, fed the veggie garden and planted the front door garden.

I am now showered up and doing laundry. So happy the new dryer is in. The old one had some sort of belt issue and it sounded like rocks were caught in the gears...

This morning I found out that Dad is a celebrity.
Last week a big casino opened up in Everette Massachusetts. Its an odd place for a casino since the city is a big city and the casino is in a poorer industrial type area. Dad's factory job is two blocks away. Well last Saturday, while I was away, Dad parked at work and walked over to see if he could do it with his back issues going on. It was a 10 minute walk. He decided to go in...but the place did not open until Sunday. He gambled for 45 minutes before someone found him and escorted him out. They asked how he got in and he said that the front door was open. I was just happy he want arrested.

Today he goes to breakfast and a new guy sits next to him. Trans out he is security at the Casino. He starts telling stories about the first week they are open and he starts talking about an old guy that had gotten in and started using the slot machine a day before they were open. My Dad says that it was him...and the security guard got all excited and said that Dad was a celebrity. They had to have an emergency meeting after Dad left and they had to figure out how he got in and past all of security. They were also surprised that Dad was a nice guy about it and very friendly and polite (they had a tough week) . The guy also said that they should have offered him his money back that he put into the slot machines. So today when the guy goes to work he is going to a meeting and well tell everyone he had breakfast with the mysterious old guy.
