Jun. 25th, 2019 06:52 pmThis weekend I went with Phoenix Swords to a Faire in New Jersey. The Faire is on the grounds of a glass museum that does a lot of teaching.
The weather was perfect for me. I bopped around a bit. First time at a Fair as a reddish head. I liked it... I have some vanity left...not much...just a few shreds.
The people there are all very very nice. Not like the way many TV shows portray folks from New Jersey.
It was nice talking to people about various subjects... never a dull conversation.
There was also a bird's nest in a gourd that hung by the tent. The chicks were very noisy and the court would spin in the breeze. The parents would come and feed the demanding chicks through out the day. On Sunday they all left the nest. One actually landed on of of the sword troupe members. I have a couple of photos of the babies in the nest... if I can ever down load them on to my lap top.... (I hate down loading photos now as the program has changed and it is a PITA...I have to work on this)
Yesterday I was home before 10 AM and got to work in the garden. I have caught up with the chores that could not be done in the rainy time.
Sadly the minute I got home people discovered me and my phone would not stop dinging ... sigh... You cannot answer a smart phonon garden gloves.
