ravena_kadeTwo things I am not good at: waiting for delivery people and working from at home.
I left work at 9:30 to meet the delivery guys for the new dryer...FINALLY AFTER 2 YEARS.
I am supposed to be working, but there is nothing coming in...so I am bored.
The delivery window was between 11 AM and 3:00PM.
No one is here.
Oh, and my back up had some news today. I thought she would be giving her notice. NOPE. The building has been sold. I may or may not be out of a job in 6 months....
Not working here is not a bad thing...but I am afraid of not being able to get anything else at 54 years old with no degree. I have no one to network with... and that is what did me in the last time.
I'd love to get back down town... but I don't know anyone.
The least I can do is start trying to network.... and learn some things.
The sad part is I would be happy in a small place...even retail... but no healthcare for me means that I can't cut out the cancer bits when they grow back... that and I could not keep up with the house.
