ravena_kadeMonday I did 6 hours of yard work and got some sun.
Tuesday I did 3 hours of yard work before the rains came. Later I took Dad to a Doc appointment and then to my first Rock Concert in YEARS. Sammy Hagar. Night Ranger was the opening act. Sammy's big song was "I Can't Drive 55" and it was my friend Sue's 55 birthday. It was loud ...lots of drums and electric guitar from guys older than me, but younger than Dad. The only Bad thing was that the concert was out under a tent and it was rainy and only 51 degrees. We froze.
Today I am slow. Still cold. It's only 48 degrees and rainy...argh. I want to turn on the heat, but I don't want to buy oil.
I am sore from all the yard work. Too much of the garden claw, tearing out weed roots and such.
I have also decided to go to the salon ...something I don't do mostly as it is an expense, but I have been lacking some self care lately and I feel like an old hobbit. I guess after paying for the front stairs I have decided to say f it. Time for a spruce up. I don't do manicures as the yard work and clay work destroy my nails, but there are other things.
I have not seen Texas Uncle and Aunt for 2 days. They may come to dinner, but it will have to be take out or a restaurant as they did not say for sure if they were coming or not so I can't really cook. Just a few more days...
My sister is on her way with her room mate. They will be the center of attention and I hope I can just fade into the background . They will be here tomorrow night.
Friday Dad has 2 doc appointments then we are supposed to go out with my sister...she wants to do something but won't make plans... sigh...and then go out to Dinner with Texas Uncle and Aunt. They want me to pan and then just keep saying no to everything.
Everyone goes on Monday.

This morning before 9 I have phone calling, texting, and messaging all at the same time all on my smart phone...everyone wanting me to schedule but no one listening to me at all.

And if they lived closer I would see them every once in a while so it wouldn't be for 3 weeks.
