ravena_kadeHard day on Friday, but got through it. Sigh.
Had a nice visit withallgudallthetim Friday night and Saturday. We went to the New Hampshire Renaissance Faire. It was a beautiful day and we ran into guy_todd, and Fiona Connor several times. I also got to visit malterre at her booth and picked up a lovely amber fairy light. A supurb day to be outside and be with friends.
I grabbed a 4:50 PM train back to Boston. Took Dad to dinner and then mostly passed out asleep before 9 PM.
Today I didn't want t get out of bed, but I did. There were a couple hours before the rains came that I could work in the yard. Both the lilac and red azaleas are in full bloom. Working by the lilac is so nice... so fragrant.
Headed to the cousins and we actually had a ceramics class. Everyone finished one of their projects. That was good.
While I was there the Texas Uncle called. They were in Connecticut. Sigh. Never called me to give me any details of the trip. The would be here at 6 or so...but I persuaded them not to coe to the house tonight. The games begin tomorrow... even though i have to go to the shelter tomorrow as I have the key and need to open up. I suggested that we get subs as something quick I can try and see if they have any plans aside from sitting in the down stairs living room for 15 days. Sigh. The I suggested the subs or pizza he was like ...no no no no we do Chinese food first. We can't do anything else. Ummm...sigh... I did not expect them on the Monday as I said I am not home... and Dad doesn't talk... sigh.
.... wish me luck.
I have a few days off after memorial day... but I am not telling anyone. I just want to work in my garden and maybe take a train ride to the sea.
Trying to relax right now. It will be a busy week at work and chaos with family and dealing with their mental illnesses. Sigh.

Date: 2019-05-21 12:21 am (UTC)Im that case, I hope they're staying in a hotel and not at your place! I would put my foot down if anyone (even family) showed up on my doorstep without giving me notice.
Honestly, I don't understand why family figures they don't have to be polite and show common courtesy to people that they are related to.
