ravena_kadeToday was a long day. Busy because I have month end functions and I am doing someone else work as well. So tired after work that I fell slapped on the train. I didn't miss my stop, but I know I was asleep.
I am packed up for the weekend. I found out that the cracked window on my front porch actually leaks...how do I know? Well one of my gesso'd canvas boards was soggy... oh well I only have 9. I do have a couple of cute 4x4 primed canvases that I will bring.
The weather is weird. Tomorrow as I walk from the train to the B&B it could be raining or snowing... sigh. This means it will be too warn for the long hooded winter coat and too cold for the rain coat. PPPPBBBBTTTTZZZZZZ....
I did get a fun idea for a still life that I will try after the class. I was gifted with some Lucky Buddha beer bottles...didnt like the beet, but I love the bottles. I want to do a Chinese take out container with the beer bottle, some orange chop sticks (I like putting something orange in my art) and a fortune cookie. Something impressionistic... how frightening... It's out of my wheelhouse, but it is something to aspire to.
I really hope the B&B is nice It would be nice to have a place to run away to in the summer if I save up.
