I have to fast for medical stuff Friday.

Anyone have any tips on fasting.

I can have clear liquids and jello. Tea and coffee seem to be too.

I bought some broth, but even the low sodium broth is super high in sodium. 20 calories worth has almost 700 mg of sodium. I am going be starving and my BP through the roof.

Oi.

Oh well, it is a good way to jump start the diet.

I did popsicles when I fasted for my colonoscopy. They satisfy hunger in an OK way. :)

Make your own broth, woman! Crock Pot + bones of an animal + celery/carrots/onions/garlic + herbs + water + time = broth.

Leave the skins on the carrots, garlic, and onions, and the tops on the celery. Nutrition and color. Enough water to cover +1" or so, leave the Crock-Pot on high for 12+ hours. Then scoop out all the chunky bits, strain the liquid, et voila, broth!!
