* Watched someone die: Sadly... I had to give the order... I was not in the room at the end as I was trying to deal with family who would not leave me alone, but who wanted attention. My sister was there and I am grateful for that.

Now that's a strange sounding pizza!

That said, I once tried walnut, pear and gorgonzola (which is authentically Italian, believe it or not)!

It was good, too. :o)

I thing the fig pizza is a riff on the pineapple and ham pizzas here . Sweet and salty.

I bet I would like the walnut, pear and gorgonzola.

I've always been of the opinion that pineapple on a pizza is just.......odd.
