The house is cold. Running out of oil sucks. They should be here with a delivery tomorrow or early Thursday. Glad we have warmer than normal January temps.

I feel bad for the cat.

Spent an hour trying to get a new cable deal for the house. I am going in with Dad...I don't like it, but we need to save money. It will be land line (his) cable and internet. We will get 2 movie stations and a net flix account and a DVR. I will give up my land line internet and direct tv and workout of his. We each save $100 a month. The contract is for 2 years. In 2 years I will close out his accounts and open one as a new customer and get the new customer deals... I just hope my lap top connects okay. I am not good with tech and weird things happen to me (like the Amazon account that no one can help me with) They come Saturday morning. I guess I will have to dust behind the TVs.

Just finished making and eating dinner with/for Dad.

I have been home over 3 hours and started work at 5:10 AM. I am tired (and cold) but there are still more chores to do.

I want my electric blanket and bed...but I can't...

You're still using oil?

It's a hugely expensive option here so fairly rare as a choice these days.

When I bought the house it had oil.

I had hoped to change that one day but....

Glad it's not too cold outside but wrap up warm even indoors while you have no heating. The cat will be fine :)

I hope the TV deal works for you. I know what you mean about saving money. Our PG&E bill was sky high this month... of course, they are teetering on bankruptcy, so it's going to get worse before it gets better...
