ravena_kadeToday I stayed home.
I told the cousins that since we were not doing class I wanted to take care of some things. I suggested that we do Chinese food on New Years Day and play cards. I enjoy playing games so I don't mind going over then.
Today they texted me to tell me that they were having Chinese Food today instead and that we would have Christmas left overs New Years. (left over left overs) It was meant as a slight, but it doesn't bother me. I am planning to get some Lobster for New Years Eve.
I didn't do much today. I wanted to veg. Laundry is done, dishes are done. I have bills to write out...that will be about an hour.
I did make soup. A Squash, sweat potato, and carrot soup. I think my BP was crazy high because I like a cup of soup at night in the winter. And prepared soups are crazy high in sodium... and the ramen soups are insanely high... so I am making soups. The soups was tasty, but It became more well rounded and tastier when I added a slug of eggnog to it. I didn't have milk or cream so... It's real tasty.
Dinner will be salmon. Something Dad doesn't like.
