ravena_kadeChristmas was eh... I just feel like a servant. I am happy that there is a marathon of my favorite Science Fiction show on for the week.
I think the holiday is more for people that have their own family. I know I am an alien in this neck of the woods.
If I was really alone I think I would have went the seashore, but I am caught with a dependent.
...but it's done.
I did have a nice Boxing Day. I had to work, but I went to dinner with a friend for Christmas. 4 hours at a restaurant, catching up and laughing. I think I will try make a point to do dinner with her Christmas week as a tradition. It would be nice to have a Christmas friend again.
And the drinking... ummm...Mezcal on a work night is dangerous. Not that I did anything dumb, but today was long long long. No headache, but I was sluggish until noon.
Tomorrow I have a half day. I wanted to go to Rockport, but it's going to rain. I have tried to plan this since November. Where I want to be is over a mile from the train station so rain is not great. Saturday is supposed to be nice so I am going to try then. I want renew my membership to the tiny museum up there where I showed my shark. That and I want to go to the seashell store.
