The friend with the broken leg and pneumonia is now having heart failure. She needs open heart surgery, but they can’t do it until they stabilize her BP and they get rid of about 25 pounds of built up fluid. She may not make it. I am going in tomorrow as they are running tests today.

sadly it seems like one of those "once you fall" type things, but she is 8 years too young for that statistic. =(
