The weekend

Friday Did not go as planned. Dad had a 9:40 appointment in Boston so I thought we could go up north for lunch and do a little small town Christmas shopping. Didn't happen. His boss was going into work and he said he wanted to stop by and help get something ready for Saturday. I said okay, then we could go to lunch. He said don't tell his boss we were going to lunch she would call her husband and they would want to take us to lunch. Okay. We get there and Dad wont leave. We were there 3 hours. The husband came to work and said "Why are you here, your Dad should take you to lunch and do something else" I laughed. Then Dad gets a phone call that the registration for the car is ready so we need to go get that. He dumps me off and gets his paperwork and picks up a cousin from work and spends the rest of the day/night at the cousins. I didn't even get lunch. He can't figure out why I am mad with him.

Saturday was nice. Went to the Pheonix Sword Christmas dinner and had a lovely time. I enjoy dinner with friends a lot.

Yesterday I was trying to paint for a craft show that is next Saturday. Oh so many interruptions.

Today is painting. Tomorrow has 2 job interviews. One I am not really keen on and the other I want to ace.
We shall see how it goes. I just need to get those under my belt. I have some Christmas shopping to do but I dont intend to mail anything until next week. I hate mailing stuff.

After the craft show I hope to read. 2 Christmases ago I bought a book and have not been able to read it.
