Nov. 10th, 2021 03:12 pmI walked the beach instead of doing chores.
The tides time I like to walk will now be in the dark for a bit so I wanted to go. I put on my shore shoes and walked in the water. It was chilly, but it will probably be the last time I can walk in water for a while.
The storm that took my power for 5 days really did some work on the bay. I have been finding scallop shells...bay scallops of course. Say a pretty white one with a couple of lavender stripes. I picked it up and found it was alive. It snapped its' shell closed and looked at me. I stared into its many eyes and said "tell me what your purpose is and I will put you back into the water". It's answer was "To Be Delicious" and I walked it out into the water.
Work is exhausting...but it will change in a month. I hope for the better.
