Oct. 18th, 2021 03:29 pmWasn't great to get back to work. They made a system's change and things got even slower. Grumble.
I wanted to meet with the team leader to go over what went on last week. I saw the spreadsheet of all the functions she wants me to take on while she is out at then end of the week and it was overwhelming.
I firmly believe that there needs to be open communications...even if I drag it out of them. I told her something like that and suggested that we have a friendly meeting soon. I have not even talked to the new person that the Boston Boss is pushing our way... and I have not had 3 words with the other woman on the team whose husband had the car accident in May. Turns out that she was out last week while I was out because he had another surgery scheduled. If we all need to work as a team we had better talk to one another. Oi. All the while the team lead kept saying how much she needs me and how much I do... and I said fine, but I cant do more until VISA is gone. She needs to sell that to the Boston Boss and VP.
Still no word on when I will go back. At this point why dont they wait until the new year... or after lay offs. I cant imagine that I will be let go on Nov 1 with the training I have to do, but then again, this place isn't smart.
Feeling a bit better today. Trying to lay off the cold meds and have some chicken soup. It does clear the head.
I am not going to the shelter tonight. We have very large skittish dogs and i am not on my best to deal with them and I don't want a bite.
